Consultant. Clients included : Saudi Aramco to develop a high-resolution sequence stratigraphic framework for the worlds greatest reservoir (Arab-D carbonates) in the worlds largest field (Ghawar Field) and the surrounding area. In addition, he recently completed an investigation into the high-resolution sequence stratigraphy of Miocene alluvial fan to shoreface clastics in the Vienna Basin, Austria and Cretaceous carbonate and Tertiary siliciclastic reservoirs in Venezuela.,

RECENT PROJECTS:

  • Regional stratigraphy and depositional facies of the Arab-D Member, Saudi Arabia
  • Depositional facies and high-resolution sequence stratigraphy of the Arab-D Formation, Ghawar Field, Saudi Arabia
  • High-frequency sequences and stacking patterns of Miocene fan-delta and shoreface sandstones, Matzen Field, Vienna Basin, Austria
  • Depositional facies and sequence stratigraphy of Cretaceous braided fluvial to tide-dominated estuarine clastics, Castilla Field, Llanos Basin, Colombia
  • High-resolution sequence stratigraphy of Misoa-C sands (Tertiary), Lake Maracaibo, Venezuela
  • Reservoir characterization of Cretaceous carbonates in Lake Maracaibo, Venezuela
  • Modern and ancient karst/cave collapse features and their application to exploration in paleokarst reservoirs
